Can You See Me!?

Can You See Me!?

I just love to help women grow their business through franchising… Why?… Because I have done it and know how fabulous it can be if done correctly and with the right support.

Last week, I was talking to a group of women who were all quite new in business and one of their questions was “How can I get people to see me?” What an amazing question!

12 months ago, the thought of standing up in front of 50 business women would have sent me running for the door in a blind panic! So, what changed? I decided to stop worrying about what I was going to say and just be me. Tell my story in the hope I can help and inspire people to move their business forward… No matter what.

Todays world, both online and off line is SOOO busy. There are so many platforms and ways to advertise who you are and what you do that It can be very overwhelming, and to be honest, where do you start?

I think the absolute key is to make a visibility plan, and stick to it! Be consistent in your message, who you want your message to reach and what you want your message to say about you.

People need to know about why you and your business are so wonderful… If you don’t shout about it then nobody will.

• Offer value

• Give advice

• Be personal and let people see who you are (not just the business, but you)

• Offer a solution

When my franchise students are looking at being visible, the first thing we look at is: What are you passionate about? Why do you love your business so much that you want to share it with others?

Then tell people! Share your knowledge and experiences, you don’t need to be “the expert” you just need to be you and connect with the people who “get” you and what you want to achieve.

Connecting with the right people is the one of the most important things you can do for your business, you need to learn how to do this, take the time to do it, and go for it!

We all have doubts. I have written posts and thought… “Mmmm, will anybody read this, will people like this etc.” But then I’ve also thought “so what!” If I write a post/blog that helps just one person then my job is done.

Be brave and get yourself out there. Do the thing that scares you most, I promise… It will be so worth it.
